I've just noticed on car and classic that there is a Lemans for sale in Italy (region; Bedfordshire} which is a good colour blue and looks very tidy however they are asking £48500 for it. I know the word is that Alpine values are on the up but!!

Another one on the continent at nearly 50k so values over the water are sharply on the increase I would say.

Yes its a rare Millie Miles edition but surely this shows values are on the rise with the brand being re launched?

Whats the view on the UK cars values ? Should I be looking to increase my guaranteed value on insurance?

Prices are definitely on the up but are there enough recorded sales to verify ? How do your insurers work it ? I would imagine they would need an inspection report from say RAOC/CAR etc .What have you got on it atm ?

ps It must have more than 30k on it now ???

Just tipped over 31k mikes this year . Got it guaranteed at 17k at present which will cover it at current U.K. Values . My insurance company will guarantee value up to 20k just with photos showing condition. Anything higher then they require a written valuation from the club.

As you say it Will be interesting to keep an eye on these and if they sell and at what they actually sell for , or is the market just that much stronger abroad ? Seems they are much more sought after abroad ?

As you say hard to value over in U.K. as so few change hands regularly.

You can ignore LHD values for the most part I think and I would say you're about right as you are at present .
