A610 Glovebox Wallet

Postby Paul Tindall » Fri Sep 26, 2008 12:06 pm

Still looking for an original A610 glovebox wallet if anyone out there has one to spare (most likely from a scrapped car) since recent hopes to acquire one seem to have floundered! Never seen one in the flesh so even a picture would help me know what I'm looking for!

Fair price paid of course!

Dave G not come up with one then? I'm pretty sure they are the same as the later GTA's with a leather wallet and embossed Alpine badge? Any A610 owners confirm?

Yes its a leather folder with the alpine logo on it, black/grey leather- but mine doesn't live in the glove box any more.

GTA Wallet has the earlier Alpine Roundel.

A610 Wallet has the later Alpine Oval Badge.

Both metal/enamel on the genuine items.

Well, I've paid for one, and it was supposedly sent through the post by DG nearly 2 weeks ago but has not arrived. Deduce what you will from that but DG seems to have lost his phone and I just can't communicate effectively with him at present. Not actually sure if what he had was the A610 or GTA wallet, but he said it was A5 sized which of course the GTA wallet isn't. So, all did seem hopeful originally but now I'm again on the lookout if there is a kind soul out there who has a spare.

Yes, that's an easier way of putting it

Think you will struggle to find an A610 one as there have been very few cars broken.

Your best bet is a later GTA one as they sound very similar, I do not have one unfortuntely but one should come up quicker than an A610 one.

I deduce its probably gone AWOL then. Did I not offer you a refund on it? Yes, so the problem is what?
