Aircon

Postby clee » Mon Feb 05, 2007 4:50 pm

All off bar a couple of hoses ,it's too cold now and I've just taken a big chunk out me finger
Complete system including evaporator and all electrics .It's a lot simpler than I thought ,the evaporator is housed in an airtight case and plonks on to the airbox intake thingy so you place it on and silicon it .
My camera has died so will add some more pics tomorrow but you can see the top end bits here .PM me
PS .was fully working when taken off ...............

Yes I am keen. How much including freight, if you can get David to work it out. Hoping to buy a Turbo gearbox for a friend that has had catastrophic bearing failure in his. Just sent an offer to Big MVS for his. Perhaps the lot can come out on one pallet.

It seems I was too slow out of the gate and another Australian has beaten me to it.
Anyone else got an A/C system or just the evaporator unit that they would part with?

Just checking I've not missed anything  Apart from the hoses ..........
The evaporator and blower are housed in the black box right and the duct top right seats to the main intake .

surely 1 of the fans is for the water rad.
any in-car parts, like switches?

Aircon ............two rad fans ,switches ,relays etc .............in the bag
The interior switches are mounted on a board ??? on the RHS of the steering ,with the hazards and central lock .I can't remember what's there if no A/C installed ????? Will this unit simply remove and swap for a non A/C version ??
