Postby clee » Mon Jul 05, 2004 5:42 pm

I'm producing a 3D model of the GTA but need more info.Has anyone got any detailed pictures/line drawings that show the car in profile/front/rear or top. These can be in any format but as high rez as possible. If you have anything that you think may help please email me.Have a look at this site to see what I'm trying to do ( this guy is one of the best I've seen & if mine even looks like a car I'll be happy) .http://www.suurland.com/

Hi, can't help with any tech spec however I do have a copy of encyleopdia of Supercars featuring an Alpine A610 (It has studio photography spread over a gatefold. As there are only a few copies of this rare magazine remaining it's yours for a tenner! Front, rear, side profiles and the all important overhead view are photographed in a studio as cut-outs). I could take a high res front 3/4 and rear 3/4 of my GTA also using a pro digi-camera.

Anyway, hope that could be of some use to you.

Regards

Yes ,but really after more technical line drawings as these can be traced in and are flat with no perspective.Pictures are very difficult to define in a geometric format so any info they give is used as a guide to the final model when viewed in 3D.

That's the sort of thing I'm looking for ,but it's to small to get an accurate trace from.

Postby David Gentleman » Mon Jul 05, 2004 10:45 pm

Heres something you can use if your not running Windows NT

http://nfstoolbox.suckosaurus.dk/nfswizard.phtml

Download NFS Wizard...

and use the A610 3d file on this site..

http://rkncs.totalnfs.net/car3.htm

Its not the last thing in quality, but its something to start with maybe?
