Anyone interested in a GTA Europa Cup Racer For EUR 8.900
It's in europe, and has been advertised for a while. The price has come down and down. Don't know any more, but pictures look good.

On 24 May , bidding hit £3,050 but it failed to meet the reserve. Perhaps the reserve is less this time round.

Didnt read it....thought it was all going to be in German so just looked at the piccy!!!! I will have nearly that amount once the new Turbo arrives so I will stop dreaming now! What is it with the Germans and Alpines??? They seem to have a fair few spares places and sites dedicated to them....I'd have thought it would all have been French before I joined this forum.

You probably know, but just in case, If you click the picture then you can see some more pictures of it.

You may get similar BHP, but I think the chassis preparation would cost a lot more. Having said that it does appear to be a track only car!

No not on a circuit. Much as I like my motorsport its nice to have a blast up the road too.....as I said I never gave this car serious thought....who knows what you'd need to do to put it on the road (although it does appear to have lights which is a good start). If I was buying a car purely for motorsport I'd be looking at a single seater......nowt quite like the current crop of tiny bike engined single seaters for acceleration (used to have one a few years back).

The yellow R5 Turbo 1 sold for £4701. Someone got a git of a bargain, unless it was in apalling condition. The red and green 'thing' went unsold suprisingly  and has been relisted. If I was him I'd be respraying it first!

white turbo on ebay

Postby clivebawden » Mon Jul 19, 2004 12:14 pm

Concerning the white GTA turbo that peterg has posted a link to, this was previously on ebay about a month ago. At the time I had just started looking for one, and recklessly bid to just over £3000 without seeing it! I was the highest bidder so I contacted the seller and offered to negotiate. I went to see it and it was not bad, but as it was the first GTA I'd looked at I didn't really know what it was worth. I offered £3500 but he didn't accept (wanted at least £4500) so I walked away. The interior was a bit tatty (not all electrics working, bits of trim falling off) and I was a bit concerned about it being registered in France (it was still on French plates).
I'm now glad I didn't buy it because I subsequently bought a much better red atmos GTA off ebay for not much more money.
