Well done - really nice. Someone else in the midlands, hope to see it on the roads around here sometime!

Hopefully next year I will have more time to get to meetings - as a shameful plug I need to make some space for the new arrival and so some cars need to go - currently I have 3 x GTA turbos - one of which may be broken for spares and this Renault 8 which is now on ebay - item number 400343059358

I'd be interested in parts from the breaker please (only if you go ahead of course): left & right door seals (the seal on the door itself). Rear lamps (if good condition).

Gumtree seems to be one of the worst places for this at the moment. I replied to 2 adverts lately and on their first replies it's obvious it's a scam. I wonder how many get sucked in.

Trevor.

The car has been collected and then went into storage, I have only driven it around the industrial estate that we are on. I have a track day booked for later this month.....but don't feel confident at the moment on using the A310 so will probably use a R5GT or the 930. When the weather is better will give it some use and get it on the rollers.

Sounds good. I suggest before you do start using it in anger that the ecu map fuel and ignition be checked on a RR by a competent operator in your area (I can't recall now, do you have your own? If you do then great :-) ). It hasn't been checked, and there are a number of changes that may have affected what the calibration should look like now, worth considering.

Cheers,
Martin
