My Lexus mates use these guys for boot seals, Seals Direct in New Milton. Obviosly they are cheaper than manufacturer parts.

Errrr , actually, non of them are similair to the ones on my car.
Plus, you need two types.
1 straight piece to go all the way along the front edge, between the 2 bonnet strut rams. The same type is also along the back edge of the luggage compartment between the 2 bonnet locking wheels.
and a 3rd piece to do the 3 sides, along both wing edges and below the windscreen.

I looked in the parts manual, pages 65.021 and 64.011 look interesting??? but unconclusive. S/H may be the way to go.

these files will have to go in a few weeks , as I'm short of web space now.

I don't know if it's just because I have a late model GTA but from the pics that Simon has posted, mine are different.

I have just 2 seals, 1 that goes all the way from the LHS corner of the windscreen to the other around the front of the car and 1 that goes across the boot space between the 2 bonnet catches.
Each of these is asymmetrical as in Simon's last photo, where the inside has the longer trim and the outside just the thicker but shorter piece. If you get these the wrong way round (the short straight piece across the top of the boot was once put back wrong way round) you get some very weird wind noises from up front.

Interestingly, on mine, the larger seal doesn't go across underneath the windscreen. Has a previous owner "trimmed" this for me?

See you at Prescott and we can compare all the different boot seals!

I think you will find that Simon s seal has been fitted back to front the long one goes from one side to the front and back up the other side the short one goes across the boot

No he hasn't..... Both seals should be as turbodog said, but interestingly enough, the "gap" in the seal below the windscreen plays an important part in the heating and ventilating system of the Alp. If you look at the "chocolate box" scuttle, you will notice on the drivers side the air intake for the heater. Now imagine continuing the seal along the back edge below the windscreen, and with the cross piece seal in place, and the bonnet closed, apart from the small water drain pipes, where would the air for the heater come from except from that gap. Now also consider the airflow up the bonnet and then up the windscreen, there is no ram effect for the air to get to the heater......so now we know why when you switch on the ign....hey presto....the fan always starts running......crafty these French designers don`t you think
PS. Whilst cleaning the Alp after Macon, I have taken a pic of how the seals run which is how Renault fitted them. The only slight mod is the 3 inch piece of Mini door seal in the middle to hold the panel on its lip
