GTA electric door release

Hi all

Quick question before I start stripping stuff :-

RH door doesnt open via door electric 'handle'
Sill mechanical release handle works OK
Outer door release works fine
Locking with key works fine
LH electric release works fine
Can hear clicking noises from dash area when operating the RH electric 'handle'
No 'event', it just started not working

Any views ? Sounds like the electric motor mechanism that works the door plunger?

Most likely Chris. There's a thread somewhere from JohnC on oiling them and getting them working again. They do get tired with age.

However they are still available new and are shared / equivalent with other cars and models so not a problem if you need to replace.

Take a look here. I stripped my motor down and cleaned up the commutator etc and now works a treat.
