Alpine A310 vs Lotus Esprit S2

Dear Friends
I'm courios to know if someone of you tested both cars and can give me impressions
or if you read a comparison on some road test magazine.
Both brands, Lotus and Alpine, have similar "baseline" from technically point of view and historycally poin of view, in someway the answers to Porsche and Ferrari but with less money.
When I bought my A310 ph.2 I choosed it and not an Esprit (in Italy both cars was very rare) because I assumed that it should be more reliable and PRV 2.7 should be more usable every day (and more "tuningable"...) than Lotus L4, and because in A310 there is space for wife and baby...
And, of course A310, for its fantastic design (maybe one of the best of '70 and '80 in the world)! But Esprit Giugiaro also is not bad (on Eart and on Mars!)...
So I'm asking your opinions, especially if you tryed these cars

From these comparison cars seem having similar performances but Alpine seems to have better quality and reliability (1001moteurs)

I would like to know if someone tryed the Lotus also (and the A310 of course) so he can give his own impression...
