On the GTA wiring diagram (electronic control panel C-23) there are 3 wires which refer to the speedo.
1 : Speed Sensor +.
2 : Speed Sensor -.
3 : Speed Sensor screening.
The wiring diagram for the new speedo also refers to 3 wires in the 'Sender Unit Connection Options' menu.
1 : Connect to ECU or Hall effect speed transducer (not both).
2 : Connect to magnetic sensor input. (this one isn't needed for the GTA)
3 : Connect to 8v input on Hall effect speed transducer.
Im assuming the Speed sensor + & - just need wiring as usaul to a live and negative somewhere.
Has anyone got any ideas which one the Speed Sensor sceening wire needs connecting too?
