Not that easily as they are slightly wider. In addition the front profile of the car is different. If you are good at cut and shutting you might have some luck. Alternatively you can source a le mans look bumper for the GTA from prima or profil tuning. The larger A610 rear spoiler fits well though.

610 panels

Postby David Gentleman » Sun May 16, 2004 10:43 am

Also the A610 bumper is higher on the wing line as standard, so when you offer it up to the GTA, it touches the floor. I tried this on my GTA with the spare 610 panels I had. The only way you could do it is to fit a whole 610 front end, the parts are actually quite cheap The bonnet is very slightly longer on the 610, so the original would need filling and adjusting,
the wings would bolt on but the bottom of the GTA wing would need grafting to the 610 wing at the swage line that goes along the car, becuase on the GTA the line bulges inwards and on the 610 it bulges outwards, and the 610 wing has a bit of sideskirt stuck to it at the bottom. All the rest, the wings and nosecone, and bumper would mount together. I was planning to use plexiglass headlamps like on the Le Mans racing 610 rather than the pop ups. Obviously you would have to make up some new mounting brackets to hold the whole front assembly together at the front of the car. The parts worked out about 600 for the nosecone, 150 for each wing, and 400 for the bumper. The only expensive parts where the foglamps at around 400 each! Porsche 928s S4's use the same units, but guess what...the same price!

I have been browsing the markets for about 2 years and I have never seen a 610 for sale. Not that it bothers me too much, I'm very pleased with my GTA.

I know of at least 6 that have been sold in the last couple of years. There are at least 2 for sale at the moment if you are interested...

I might be interested!!!

Admittedly, my first choice would be a LeMans, but I've never seen one for sale..... ever. So next choice would be a610.

What sort of money are they after, whats the spec's and whereabouts are they located???

Thanks, Lee

Thats a shame about the LeMans, clearly I have been living on another planet!!

Good news about the A610's though, I'm going to give these some serious thought. I've always like them, but I'm in two minds because a perfect LeMans is bound to come up for sale just after buying an A610.

Although, I suppose if driven side by side the A610 might be considered the better car anyway. Food for thought, I think.

In the meantime, if anyone does know of a LeMans' for sale, please let me know.

There was a 'Le-mans' for sale on the exchange and mart web site a few weeks ago, don't know whether its still there, but it has been on that site for over 6 months and they wanted £11.500 for it. It looks lovely.

But i'll keep my eyes peeled, just in case the owners having a week off.
