Intercooling,Charge cooling and oil cooling

Just an odd question. For my 8 I'm going to have a custom intercooler made with a small chargecooler on the end alla Escort Cosworth. Thought I'd add an oil cooler rad the other end too. Is there any reason why this isn't do-able? Are the oil cooler rads basically the same as an intercooler rad or have they a different construction?
