Clutch Master Cylinder

Postby Wrightbr » Thu Jul 05, 2012 12:37 pm

Hi,

I am trying to remove my clutch master cyinder at the moment to get it refurbed and looking for some advise. I have got to the master cylinder and clamped and removed the fluid inlet pipe. I have undone the two nuts holding on the cylinder. Just a couple of questions

- The cylinder does not want to come away from the blukhead. I read in the tech notes that renault mastic it on, does it just need a bit of brute forse/ prising off?

- The outlet pipe I cannot seem to find a brake line spanner that fits? have tried 9mm,10mm,11mm and 12mm but none seem to fit? Does anybody know what size this is as I do not want to bigger up the nut?

Thanks
Brad
