Brake pipe fitting sizes, help !

Postby muffy » Wed Jan 19, 2011 6:22 pm

Hi, anyone Know the brake pipe fitting sizes and quantity of each needed, (1986 gta turbo)
It looks like 3/16 pipe, 10x1mm fittings not sure though. I would like to order all the bits in before tackling the job. ill probably go for copper nickle pipe,
I may as well do the fuel pipe whilst im at it , what size dia would I need for that. There seems to be lots of suppliers on the net, can anyone recommend a good one !!
Cheers

I can't remember off the top of my head but the fittings at the master are definitely two sizes .I'll check in the morning .
For fuel I've had solid pipes knocked up at Pirtek but not the full proper shape so perhaps go copper on those .You will need to drop the engine though .

Thanks for that, BIG MVS did say engine and subframe out + fuel tank to do it right, most of them need changing, though the engine oil leak has preserved some !!!
