chassis number on A610

Sorry guys for this stupid question, but my local NCT centre (same as your MOT) wont pass my A610 as they cant find the chassis number stamped onto the chassis/body of my A610
I have showed them the plate in the engine compartment but this is not good enough
Other than that it is a pass !!

They have given me a few days to come back to them, can anyone help me on this

on a GTA the VIN is stamped on the top of the OS rear suspension turret too.

thanks for the tip Simon, but it is not there on my A610 car, I also checked the n/s and it is not there either, in fact there is no sign of it anywhere around the engine compartment,
any further tips will be most welcome

On the A610 it is stamped on the front drivers suspension turret!

Yes it's on the drivers side front turret. You will need to remove the Battery/Scuttle panel to view it
