That look's nasty, what sort of money is it going to be to put it back on the road?

Despite our best efforts to save it the insurers have insisted on Cat B only so it cannot go back on the road.

It doesn't look that badly damaged. That is a real shame if it has to be another breaker :x

Why Cat B? Is there more serious damage underneath, it looks fairly superficial to me and not worthy of the scrapper. They could have even let ART put a 610 front end on it!

The assessors insisted on basing the repair costs on a porsche 968 although that is of metal construction as they have an automated quote system that not suprisingly doesn't have the GTA listed.

No not too bad at all. I have a nose and bumper available in red as well.

Alistair the owner did his best to save the car and I did my best to help him, but they refused to do this on any reasonable grounds. A real shame and a complete waste.

I called the salvage compnay but they didn't even seem to know when the car might be in and were pretty unhelpful.
