Postby BIG_MVS » Tue Jul 24, 2007 10:50 am

Are these available anywhere else apart from renault as one of the two is on back order from France and I need them pretty soon for the MOT?

they should no take too long to turn up, even on back order.

1 to 2 weeks usually.

Or just get some made up by a specialist (google or look in the back of Classic Cars etc).

Not much difference in cost and probably more reliable in terms of getting the dimensions correct, just send them the old ones as a pattern. Renault had GTA and 610 cables muddled up at one point hence it's what I had to do years ago for this very reason.
I'm just here for the gasoline.

Now you've got me worried- I have just got a nice new pair of 610 cables from Renault- A steal (by Renault) at "only" 60 quid each......I'll have another check to make sure they fit before I cut the old ones off.....
