Clio V6 engine

Postby rupert » Tue Jan 16, 2007 7:24 pm

A quick question, did a search as I was sure it has been mentioned before, but couldn't find it.

The phase 1 clio engines, 230bhp... can they be tuned at all? (I know they're not as good as the 255 Ph2 motors)

Thanks

Approaching 400 bhp with the Rotrex supercharger kit  . (Think it was 370- 380ish on the dyno)

You must lower the compression though. £££

They are very high comp standard 11:4:1

I believe they respond reasonably well to standard tuning (decat, cams, porting, management) etc up to around 300bhp. Not cheap though.
