A310 replacements!

I know I'll be accused of sacrilege but I've replaced the A310 with a couple of cheap cars over Christmas. As many of you know the build quality and reliability of our beloved Alpines had been getting me down of late so the French cars have been culled back to my road and track project GTA's. I picked up a cheap Celica GT4 (the pretty Carlos Sainz version that won all the rallys) and an Audi S4 Avant the one with the 2.2 20v Quattro engine in - 230bhp 260 ft/ibs at 1900 rpm!) Haven't driven either much yet but for a 1600 kg car the S4 is astonishing - it pulls like a train, I'm really impressed with the engine. £1800 the pair and £4000 change from the A310!

I heard elsewhere that the rolls royce managements aim is to have build quality rivalling the top range audis .
