I think you'll find its sausage squares!!! You really need a lesson on things not centred around Leicester.
Sausage squares are like square beef burgers made from sausage meat! The last one I had at Kames in October should have been called a grease square...eeoooo!

I'm well traveled, but choosy

The square sausage is a marvelous invention. It takes all the good things from the original - fat, bits of stuff that would otherwise go in the bin etc.., and about 5% meat and moves the concept forward into a more modern format - unskinned, so no pigs intestine required, flat shape means better contact with the pan so no more worries about uncooked bits in the middle, fills a roll nicely without needing further cutting.

From a logistics viewpoint, its more easily palletised than the bent tube shape of the original for bulk transport and is environmentally friendy because its regular shape needs less packaging - need I go on? You'll be having a go at haggis next!!
