Help with forum!

being a bit crap on computers as I am, I havent managed to figure out how to use the 'quote' feature that others use to refer to previous posts. Can anyone help?

Try the "Quote" button which you should see in the top right hand orner of each poted message. I used it to produce this reply.

O.k. I get that bit, but how do I select only part of someones post....I used the quote bit on your post to produce this......is that the only way? I noticed that on every post that I start theres a quote tag, but when pressed just comes up with the word quote!
