You normally have to re-use your old bottom knuckle on the front struts. Its a threaded fitment on the bottom of the strut. Alternatively you could buy a pair of new ones so at least you'll have new bushes.

I think you also have to reuse that bottom knuckle, because I dont think you can get it out with out completely dismantling the front suspension. You also have to reuse the cast platforms on the original shock and slide them over the new Konis. Problem is they are prone to cracking...they wont fall apart but they may crack on one side. Try sliding them off with a bit of heat..

You have to re-use the brackets which the springs mounts too.

I cut my old struts in half with an angle grinder, as they wern't very good and i couldn't get the brackets off without risking cracking them... :oops:

hi, has anyone had new sping seats turned on a lathe before? i have a broken seat that i had welded together so i could keep the car moving while i work on it.

I have to say that although £780 sounds a lot it isn't too bad considering the messing around the other options appear to create.
The height is fully adjustable pretty easily too!
