That would be good....and some idea of cost. Steel would be better for me as I'm after strength not show. Cant see much to be gained from a rear one either as the rear will be considerably more rigid than the front.

Looked at the GTA today......and no. It is really, really difficult to do a front strut brace. Firstly the liner has to come out like I said before, then the fibreglass curved section that seperates the boot area from the scuttle/heater blower area has to be cut out. The locking mechanisms and cables for the bonnet realease have to be binned, and finally...the turrets are covered by the main fibreglass front section skin, the main think that everything sits on. This would all have to be cut away to get the strut ends to bolt onto the top mounts. The Ress car had all this binned and probably had bonnet pins to hold the bonnet back down.

The link works!! That is one sexy under bonnet shot 8) . I wonder where they got the orange coloured pipe that goes from the turbo heat shielding to the vent at the side of the engine bay. Mine is a manky old thing that looks like its made of sack cloth.....really nasty and would like to replace it!

The sexy orange pipe is brake/air ducting. I have some on order at the moment. Also available in blue or twin wall silver. The brown (orange) pipe is the cheapest so that's the one everyone uses!

the turbo cooling pipework looks suspiciously like the industrial stuff in our aircon ducting at work !!
