Roof lining

How easy to remove the roof lining ??
I need to detach the aerial from the roof before she goes in for her re spray on Monday
Also need to remove the rear spoiler grill (the bit that sits in the top and allows the air through to pressurise the engine bay) , do the plastic clips just simply press in and hence break off when you try to release them ?

The roof lining is held on with that aerosol glue stuff. If you take the plastic trim above the windscreen off (or even just ease the tension) you should be able to tease enough of the lining away to access the aerial. When it comes to re-fitting, I suggest you use double-sided carpet tape - much easier and less messy than spray glue.

Turned out I didnt need to remove the lining, in fact I didnt really need to remove the plastic trim (I did anyhow and then wished I didnt!) as prying off the interior light lens gains access to the single 10mm nut which holds the connector on the aerial and the aerial on the roof!
Easy when you know how I guess.

Still need about a dozen of the plastic press on clips (see separate plea posted earlier today) as all but two broke off whilst prying them away to remove rear grill and scuttles
