Space saver spare, tyre pressure?

Postby simontaylor » Mon Jun 14, 2004 3:08 pm

What pressure (psi or BAR) is reccomended for the space saver spare tyre? Just in case I ever need to use it, it would be helpfull to have it pre-inflated correctly.

about 55/60 psi, but you need to check it every month or so because of all the heat it gets!

Had to use my spare once due to a flat rear tyre. Looked a bit silly with a space-saver on one side and a 255 on the other! Had to put the flat tyre on a back seat. Don't know what you're supposed to do if you have passengers! One would have to walk I suppose!
