ZOLDER PROVISIONAL ITINERARY (REVISED)

ZOLDER 2004 - PROVISIONAL ITINERARY

The biggest European Reunion of Alpine and Renault sports cars,19th and 20th of June 2004, at Zolder Circuit in Belgium. Includes Alpine Guinness World Record Attempt & European Historic Grand Prix. 650 Renault Alpines expected. Renault Sport Village & Alpine Dieppe Factory Shop. Miss Alpine, Miss Sporting Renault, Miss Renault Spider contests.

FRIDAY 18th June

Meet London venue TBC (Possibly Alpine Renault Restoration-Crystal Palace). Drive in convoy to Eurotunnel terminal.
14.00 Eurotunnel Check-in
14.58 Shuttle to Calais
16.30 (local time) Arrive Calais. Drive to Belgium.
19.30 (estimated) Arrive Belgium (Grobbendonk)

Check in Hotel **** www.aldhem.be
35 minutes from Circuit. Fully equipped luxury rooms - excellent bar - top class restaurant - large car park - indoor swimming pool - sauna. Extra advantages offered by the management to the participants: Health & Leisure Club gratis. SPONSOR of the Miss Contests.

20.00 Dinner

SATURDAY 19th June

8.00 Breakfast
9.00 Leave for Zolder circuit
9.30 Arrive Zolder.

16.00 Miss Contest heats. (E.A.C. Stand)
20.00 Dinner

SUNDAY 20th June

8.00 Breakfast
9.00 Leave for Zolder circuit
9.30 Arrive Zolder.

Concours d’élégance
Renault Village
Alpine Shop etc

11.00 Alpine Guinness World Record Attempt
15.00 Miss Contest final. (E.A.C. Stand)
18.30 (or earlier) Leave Zolder. Drive to Calais Dinner in Belgium or on-route TBC. 90 mins allowed.
20.00 (latest) Drive to Calais.
01.00 (latest) Arrive Calais for shuttle check-in
01.46 Shuttle to UK
01.15 (local time) Arrive UK


COST
Eurotunnel £100 return
Registration for event £20
Hotel £55 per night single £67 per night twin
Historic Grand Prix. Sat 5 euro. Sun 7.5 euro. Weekend 12.5 euro.

An occupational hazard with Alpines I'm afraid, but we will have Paul Sage and a toolkit with us!! :wink:
