A110 Battery Life

Postby stephendell » Sat Feb 06, 2021 1:16 am

Alpine seem to be acknowledging there is an issue with the battery life in a roundabout way with this bespoke product lol

I'm not on FB, what's the special connector they mention? (just curious, 'cos I'm quite happy how I've wired my trickle charger in and better still you can actually shut the bonnet rather than have it trailing out like that/squishing the seal)

Fitted a few of these, the connectors are just terminal that fit to existing battery terminals, route the cable neatly behind the scuttle trim, and then fit the connection to the right side trim (looking from the front with bonnet open) where the strut support locates when bonnet is closed.
Nice and neat and These are good charges.
I use one daily at work for many a battery and always been fine.

You have to be feeling very flush - 3 times the price of a C-TEC MXS 5.0 is hard to justify

Turns out to be a rebranded GYS which you can buy for less than half the price online
