PRV V6 Project (Need Help!)

The question should be when did the Yanks last try to win Lemans overall???? The only area they have concentrated on in the last couple of decades is the GT class and theyve proved durable and fast in a class thats as hard to win as the overall race. Kind of blows the argument out of the water
Alpineandy.....wasnt aware the Aston broke down...how amusing that a Corvette won when I was accepting one probably hadnt!!!

Guys yesterday I went in Tony's car and it was mind blowing!! :twisted:

I have been in many powerfull cars in my life, last week I went in a Aston Martin Vanquish and in terms of power Tony's definately felt very very very quick. :wink:

Big up 360BHP!!!!

Can I just mention I went out in a new traffic T5 last week and it was very fast indeed! No idea whehter faster than an Alpine because I havent been out in my GTA or even a standard GTA in 4 months! :cry:

It was definitely quicker than my Avensis though!! :lol:

I'm sure the T5 makes a quicker point to point car - with those flashing lights and police markings it seems like everything else is virtually moving out of the way! :lol:

And it might sound far fetched "quicker than a Vanquish" but they are only 255 bhp per ton and 218ft/lbs per ton. A GTA with 300 bhp is 250 bhp per ton and torque probably more like 260-270 ft/lbs per ton. :shock:

I just want my GTA back (in running order!).
As for the T5, they reckon its quicker point to point than the Evo 8 on everything but the twistiest road.

PS spent most of today learning how to drop a GTA sub frame. 6 bolts out, bigger all happens. Ring Steve. Steve confirms there are only 6 bolts. Ponder. Decide to whack screwdriver in on right side to pry apart. Spend 5 minutes trying to remove screwdriver. Proceed to left side. An almost cartoon-like tiny tap from same screwdriver, and out she came

(well only an inch or so because the jack and hoist were there to catch it)

Your gearshift linkage is an asp compared to the DeLorean's!
