I think you're right Miles - my mistake. And yes, they are both a bit spoiled, but their opinions reach millions of viewers, so it's nice to know that they actually really liked the new Alpine - as they can be pretty scathing of cars that they don't like.

Still I could not take the opinion of a "person" that is so fickle and has no idea of how to open the bonnet of the car yet alone know what a spanner is used for. Did not even open the engine compartment to show us the engine!! Total waste of time.

Thing is... lots of the kids (and it's mainly kids) who watch these guys on YouTube, have parents who are easily susceptible to "pester power" when choosing their next car - and the manufacturers know that, which is why people like Sam (not Tim) and Seb get invited along with the "real" press. It's a whole new world out there - kids don't watch TV now, just YouTube!

Totally agree the new generation most of them have absolutely no common sense, every thing is based around the computer if they got switched of they would not have a clue, here is what happened today 1st customer late 20s heating tripping out found they had placed a screen in front of the flue? We didn’t like the look of it was the answer :axe
Next mid 30s could you turn the programmer on, what is that, had to find it, I wondered what that was :hang
The list goes on it has got bad in the last 5 years.

Sad but true the only celebrities as far as Summer is concerned now are You Tubers and that’s all she watches (other than the Appprentice which she is bizzarely addicted to). One of them even went to ‘her’ McDonald’s on his channel this week!!

Well yes, I know what you are saying here about customers/consumers, but even more worrying is I am trying to teach the younger generation how to work in this sector and some of these people are truly scary!! I wouldn't let them near a fart let alone live mains pressure gas!!!! :Ass_Kick
