Here you go Jon.
As you can see from the high lighted part of the cct, it is very simple compared to the later types, from what I have read on this forum about these, there is a spiral wire coming from the top of the sensor to the float which has a habit of snapping off at one end or the other, if this is the case, suggest sliding, say, 1 inch of heat shrink down the wire before soldering, having soldered, slide the heat shrink up over the joint and cable, apply heat gun or similar. This should strengthen the joint and make it less flexible so, hopefully, reducing the risk of it happening too often. I have not done this myself on an early sensor, but have used the same principal before.... and it has worked.
