This Winter I will be mostly, building monster lump ,run in ,tune ,stop world spinning on it's axis then build mk2

Set up GTA service center .I know my way around them very well these days and have more and more free time on my hands and the space and kit to do it all from home .
Anything from a check up and service to engine rebuild ,clutch change etc .
I've already done a few major jobs for some guys on this site and can also offer a tuning package with stand alone ECU .

This time next year rodders....

I would strongly try and widen your renault porfolio, 5's and 21's maybe? Many people have told me that specialising in Alpines alone don't bring in too many sheckels. However not wanting to "wee wee" on your chips - go for it!

Fair point ..It's a dirty job but someone has to do it .
I'm a RTOC full member and 21toc wannabe ...They are all pretty much sorted for on that front but there is always room for something special .
I have a passion for the later alps ,I know my way round them and think I can offer a service .
I've been self employed for over 20 years ,I can't really see myself in a proper job and wouldn't want to .I can fit it round all my other stuff and will enjoy it far more .
If you don't try ........

My time busting wish list for this winter is to finish and reduce… too many projects but none for myself so need to address that balance.

List of desires:

Close out Z7U OE monster ClMf .. sure there must be some interesting abbreviations in there
BI-turbo Z7U finish build
LTH GTA finish project
Oh and a Z7W or equiv atom for some Faulksie touch

Then I can get on to my fun:

2.9 all forged bottom end wild++ head, develop new cams. Find a willing home for testing it. applications on a post card.
3ltr 24V or A++ 12V (need a good couple of weeks flow testing to decide which way to go) twin turbo, all the bits there waits some effort.

Mix ingredients and stuff one of the above 2 in a GTA and tune for maximum smoke, and bash it silly up the strip..

Build a Stratos rep kit car if I can find a granny with lots of dosh and a few weeks to live.. and if anyone is feeling generous I would love to get my hands on a 6R4 engine… but possibly settle for an unusual 21 or 5 engine project for the sake of seeing what else could be done.
... A diamond is only a piece of coal that did well under pressure... PRV afflicted, may be I need to squeeze harder!!!!

My car has been in storage for most of this year & is now fully laid up for the winter. Jobs to do - paint to front & rear , clean out the headlight voids & strip & powder coat the front suspension.
Without the car I have had to get my kicks elsewhere, check out this video ! Bit like driving a GTA on boost.
