Your problem is not enough movement on the clutch slave? Increase the bore in the master cylinder, or reduce the bore in the slave.

From what I've seen in the GTA's ability to crunch gears, the master shifts less fluid than the DeLorean's which never does. I've got a 100% brand new setup on a DeLorean right now (main engine went back in yesterday) if you'd like me to measure the travel at the slave?

Yes I think so ,not enough release .I will see how the spacing goes but will sleeve a spare .Just need to find somewhere that does it ??
Yes if you could measure it please and what size the master is/displacing ?

Lol with all that power leave it that way round as you might often find yourself facing the wrong direction any way LOL

Yep 1 forward gear and five reverse!!!

Ps the would have made sense if I had remembered to quote the gearbox post doh!

Machined out the wastegate areas .Need to finish off with grindage .
I'm not 100% that it will cure the problem , will have to see .
A couple of other ideas ...restrict the movement on the arm so that it does not enter the pipe on big booooost so much or just bin the whole divorced wastegate pipe idea and open it back up to the main downpipe to vent .

Measured at the top edge of the fork, the movement is 12-13mm (I thought it'd be more than that somehow!), the pedal lever hits its stop before the master runs out of travel. I don't know its dimensions

You could start your search with speedi-sleeves, but boring out the master would prolly be easier.

Still getting overboost so it looks like I'm going to have to either put a spacer in and a bloody big hole behind the arm or go external .
I'm leaning towards external tbh .About the same amount of work and it'll be a sure fix .
Clutch is better when very hot but still not good so further finks there .
Anyway popped it on the rollers so I could see what the wastegate was doing and got a little power run at about a bar and limiting it to 5500rpm .
Martin thinks we will hit peak power at about 7k  I think he said ??
Odd dip as well but this is all yet to be fully mapped .
I'm quietly confident we will hit our targets on this build 8)

:) nice getting there Lee. Did you just edit that post  I went back on my calcs, it's in the other place.. , I had peak torque coming in around 5800 - 6000, and peak power around 6700 ish, but really depends a number of things. So as you first said 6400 isn't unreasonable  . The top end is capable of going past these numbers safely. Bottom end shouldn't be a problem. I wasn't expecting that turbo to spool much befoire 4000, so it looks pretty much on the money. My gut feeling is that the smaller T3 Super 60 is going to make a more driveable car, certainly in the mid-range and would pull that right back up, but as you say there may be more to be had through map tweaks.

So I take it, the 5,5k cut Peter was already lifting off the throttle or he snapped it off having been full bore?

Anyway, well done! Enjoy a day off

He's not looking for driveable, he's looking for POWER!!!!!!!!!!

Well , just to see what it can do
Always wanted it more for track so yes the super 60 type is the way to go long term .That big blower will push 35psi but it's not what it says on the tin so might just be way too much .....

Wrong spacer....Must engage brain

But no I have a plan that'll work .Need to remove a lot of material from around the arm and also in the downpipe to open it up to the divorced pipe bore .This will get something like 100% more area so if it's still creeping then I give up on this idea and go external or even twin turbo over the Winter .

No joy .
I've opened up the holes as much as I can .The divorced pipe is the restriction at high boost levels ,I just can't get rid of enough gas .
Going to have to go external wastegate .

Further developments today .We have some more plumbing to tame the big blower .I won't get technical as you'll all probably nod off or go and polish something
Testing on the turbo and charge temps give some pleasing news in that the cheapo CC system is doing the business .
16psi we are getting 105c pre CC and 65c at throttle body .
20psi 144c and and 88c .

At the risk of putting the others off, what is the cylindrical thing with the brass fitting over the gauge at the front of the picture- a dump valve?

Thanks

BOV .

Using it to bleed off some boost .The actuator is set to 16 psi and the BOV to 20 at present .
Reason for checking the charge temps was to make sure the turbine was not going into overdrive as it is still overboosted .
This setup is to try and get the map done up in the high 20's .I still need to run it at max throttle a few times to see exactly where it is holding then take it up a few pounds .Can only do this with full monitoring and tune so need another session with Scoff once I know it will hold where I want it to .
