I also had cracks in my windscreen on my Premier Edition A110 on bottom of both sides. Alpine Brighton in Melbourne fixed under warranty. Seems the vehicle owned by Renault Australia had a similar issue and they stocked up on screens.

It seems that the French dealers asked their customers to check whether the two screws of the front bonnet locking mechanism are properly tightened. It may be worth checking since the effort is low.

Good call! Mine were very very loose and almost certain to cause a problem at some time in the future.

Mine were fine. Out of interest - do yours have witness marks?

By "witness marks" do you mean the blobs of green paint? If so, yes it does. I have to say that if the bolts did become loose and prevented the boot lid opening, I'm not sure how you would fix it.

Yes. My witness marks I think are yellow and the bolts hadn’t moved. Was it on the bonnet lid or the car mechanism that yours were loose?

My dealer has informed me (contrary to what has previously been posted) that the recall (for my PE) is for cooling fan fuses and software related to the injectors (and not software related to the headlamps).

I have very little confidence in the Chinese whispers we are hearing. Seems to me that the dealer-manufacturer relationship is a bit dysfunctional.

yes, I think there is very poor communication

That is one of the reasons I'm leaving any remapping until I'm well out of warranty- Don't feel the need for more power at the moment and want to be confident they will fix it if it breaks.

When I had my recall it was mentioned that a local Renaultsport dealer could have done the recall to save me travelling 3 hours but it was a bit late then! Would suit me perfectly if a renaultsport dealer could service my car rather than taking it to a Dacia dealer (no offence as I think they are good cars but I'd rather an RS dealer who might deal with a few hundred 1.8turbo engines worked on it rather than an Alpine/Dacia/Renault dealership who will only see about 30 a year...

And having checked the actual letter from Alpine, it contradicts my dealer (who now has virtually no credibility from my perspective). S/w update relates to headlamps.

There are more recalls apparently - one in respect of a shroud near the exhaust and one for the front bonnet bolts ( that we were aware of)
Unfortunately the communication from Alpine is as shambolic as ever. I heard from a friend whose dealership had emailed him. I’d heard nothing from my dealer and had to contact him to see what was up. It might not have been their fault (Alpine might not have told them) but surely we can expect more support than that?
Come on Alpine, instead of sending crap updates to the App telling us we can buy a pair of branded jeans use it to keep us informed about important things like recalls.
Still Iove the car but just hope I never need to rely on Alpine after care

Thanks for the heads up. At 2400 miles in my PE and haven’t taken my car for any recalls yet. Partially due to travel from NI and partially because I don’t yet know which dealer to trust with the work.

Has anyone got any further or concrete news on these additional recalls for exhaust shroud and front boot latch bolts and any idea of which cars it affects?

I fixed the boot latch bolt myself - it's about as easy a DIY as you can get. The "exhaust shroud" is I believe just a re-routing and a bit of extra insulation to an adjacent wire. I've had mine done - it's a while you wait job. I suspect it affects all PE but not sure if it affects later cars without the Sports exhaust.
