come on enough bitching now, give the guy some points that is a very nice TR. its always good to see classic in top condition.
that paint jobs nearly as good as one of mine :lol:

Nothing wrong with private plates as far as I'm concerned - as the OP says, you either like them or you don't :roll:

I like the TR6, looks pretty good, but i think incorrectly spaced plates really take the look away.

No one in the 60's or 70's would have been doing that sort of thing.

I also think the plate looks like TRASH at a glance.

Done get me wrong, i really like the car.

Yeh, I looked at TR6s before deciding on the GTA, but only 150bhp in std form and so many "unsorted" cars out there. Nice sound too.

Ah but a hell of a lot less complex and easier to work on,tax exempt status and good insurance rates.
My V8 Rover,and the TR6 cost me £135 pa the pair fully comp, EU breakdown, unlimited miles,agreed value,dont need to be garaged.
A fully sorted uk spec car to me is as it came from the factor,yoriginal or restored,no go faster bits on it.
Very hard to find and normally £10k+,also hold good resale value,now going up not down.
