Pistons in now 8) This liner shim malarky's not to bad .I depth mic'd the block in 12 places ,in and outside on each bore then measured the liners .All the block dims were 99.05 + - 0.02 .all the liners were 99.10 dead so 0.05 protrusion and 0.15 shims .It aint together and runnin yet though so who knows :oops:
Doing it the book way must take effing ages though .

starter motor seems a bit lethargic too ?
1986 : '86 GTA v6 BW-EFR turbo, with Adaptronic ECU

It's idle is very low...
Alpine A110, Renault Safrane 2.5dt, Hudson Kindred Spirit (Renault powered), transAlp (Honda) and Ducati Multistrada

Yes ,thats the first coat .Just blasted the covers to clean them up and get a more uniform finish ...

...and you take the "wee wee" out of GT5 for being bling! You cant even see half the stuff youre polishing and it'll be covered with a film of oil in a few months anyway...TART!!!! :lol:
