I found a bit of Alpine history whilst exploring in the internet about the development of the styling of the A310.

It seems various people had a hand including some freelancers and contractors to Renault, including Peter Stevens. He did the fwd Lotus Elan...........The rear lights are shared with the GTA.
Interesting stuff.
The website has other references to Renaults and Alpines, plus loads of other interesting cars, generally well written and probably well informed.
