ART Advice

Trying to gauge if my delivery time for the exhaust I ordered with ART back in mid May is normal. I understand that it would be coming from Mecca parts (the photo on his site is identical) so I know it would take a while. Don't get any updates, did manage to get an email response when prodded just saying it was being made. No ETA. Anyone with experience that can put my worries to bed?

What would be a normal delivery time straight from Mecca tho? And thanks for all the PM's already, worried now. Paid via PayPal so have some protection and might have to pull the plug.

From Mecca...it's Ramadan... until Jul 6...some middle east countries have reduced working hours....may need to wait.....

OK...sorry...just messing about...
Send Mecaparts an email....to check lead times...
I bought an atmo exhaust direct from them 10 years ago....don't recall a delay...I got the impression they shift a lot of exhausts..so would be surprised if they had run out..

I've just raised a refund request via Paypal, I think 5 weeks without any idea of whats happening is long enough.

I think I got mine in 3 or 4 weeks.

Should have been quicker, but they hadn't included any invoice or anything, so it got stuck in customs for a bit since they had no value or anything to clear it.
They had tried to contact the sender but got no reply, apparently

Luckily I have a friend who works with that stuff so they helped me out.

I bought mine via ART, albeit quite a few years ago, and it took a long time - in excess of 8 weeks.
From memory the reason given was due to the workshop shutting down during the summer.
Probably whats more likely that they wait until they have more than one to build...

I work for a French company, the French have to endure long holidays, strikes and work to rule.
You just have to wait, there is not much that will hurry them up.

Well I bit the bullet and cancelled, David refunded me without an issue. Placed the order direct with Meca and have been told it's in stock so wait and see.
