Move members area up the hierarchy or it is in danger of not being used, you can't even see it on the iPad unless you scroll down.
Secondly could we have a todo list for each member. Ie so you can snag your car of its faults and cross them of as you go. I'm a lists man but keep losing them, so end up constantly looking for my bits of paper.

Perhaps a detailing (cleaning , polishing )section on how to prepare your car for a show contest, preservation winter service etc. To what the judges are looking for at said shows.

Now going really out there how about a combined for sale section cars , spare parts new parts etc from this site and the CAR site. Might mend some bridges. Let's face it we all need spares from time to time or perhaps a new toy. Would aid our engineers to MOFO,Rats, Paul sage and JLEngineering and dismantlers MVS etc larger audience has to be a bonus. (Greater buying power at least)

Also what happened to the useful links like Simon autos, Paul sage, rats, JLEngineering etc.

Finally we need a red Gta smiley too
Just a thought.

Dave but love the new site.

Some awesome Ideas!
I will be looking into the members area links when i get around to doing some more customization on the site templates, and hope to have all that information in a slide out panel for easy accessibility.

I like the idea of the to-do list, and will definitely look into it. You mentioned an article about detailing etc, that is also a great idea, and I welcome anyone to assist in writing one, then PM it to either Vince or myself and we will definitely add it to the site menus. As we mentioned earlier, we are hoping to have a downloads section available for club members soon. This will hold all of the parts manuals, tech details etc, and could also be where these articles would be held, of course we will credit you with the article as well.

As for the for-sale section, we are testing a couple of classifieds mods at the moment, and when we are happy that it is stable, we will definitely be adding that to the site too, with club members having full access to post items.

I'm guessing its out by -1 hour? if so, that would be because the server is on London Standard time, and not Summer (day light savings) time. I will look into the time settings on the server when i next log into it. Thanks for the heads up.

Can we have an actual calendar that the event get linked into (by the poster), so we can see when things are happening in the year easily?

Thanks,
Martin

Thats an awesome idea Martin.
I will definitely be adding that to the to-do list if Vince hasn't already.

Thanks heaps for the suggestions and feedback guys, we still have a long way to go before the site is fully updated (if that is ever really possible lol). I will be having a chat with Vince and Stephen about these ideas, and see how they mesh together with the updates we already have planned, but definitely keep the ideas coming.

Sean.

Side note, I personally use and definitely suggest Evernote for keeping your notes in order, the notes automatically sync with the cloud, so they are accessible on your computer, phone, tablet - whatever you use. and t also has apps for all major devices.

Its free and also has a premium option with shared notebooks, a larger upload quota etc, but definately check out the free version first at http://www.evernote.com

I think it's because you are using TapaTalk? I will try it myself and see if I get the same thing.

Moderator action required to clean up and archive all the old events threads that are clogging up the forum please...especially all the Origine RS ones. I don't have the mod access to that forum otherwise I would do it.
never thought I would want a list but now find myself needing one just to remind me: Clio V6 230, 5 gt turbo, 5 Gordini turbo, Megane RS 300 Trophy.
