Atmo Engine Bay Wiring

Hi guys,
I'm in the process of re-commissioning my Atmo. I took the engine, gearbox and rear subframe out of it many years ago. Now that I have refitted them I'm struggling to see where some of engine bay wiring goes.

Q1.Does the red 3.0mm lead in the pic below connect to the bulkhead terminal with the thicker starter motor cable?

Q2. What should the (dark) grey 3.0mm lead in the pic be connected to?

Q3. Similarly, where does the yellow 3.0mm lead coming out of the rear of the diagnostic socket connect to?

Any advice appreciated.

first is alt so yes bolt with starter .Black is probably main engine earth and to rocker cover but last not sure ...Not seen an atmo for ages so unsure .
Always check with continuity tbs tbs tbs

The yellow wire...... well usually "yellow wires" denote 12v after ign on these Alps but when I went out to check last night with a torch, I could not believe what was seeing... Well... more by feel as I could not really see it due to it being buried under everything. So this morning with a lead lamp and mirror, I was able to get a clear picture of exactally what was going on under there..... So now we have answers to both Q2 & Q3. See pic below.

Lee, thanks for your input. I already have a similar red wire down at the starter. The one in the pic wouldn't reach down that far so my conclusion is that it bolts to the stud on the bulkhead to which the heavy duty red cables are secured.

John C, thanks for your sterling efforts in the dark and subsequent success in the daylight. I also had at the back of my mind that "yellow wires" denote 12v after ign (indeed I thought this was motor industry standard) but your pic proves this is not always the case. Now that I know where those wires need to go I can crack on in the knowledge that I have all the wiring harness properly routed.

Hi Martin. Yes, it looks like I'm finally going to get there. I've been too distracted running my Alfas for the last few years and moving to the country. My Alpine is about 14 miles away from where I now live so not ideal for working on. I'd have liked to go to Prescott this year but on checking the date of the event yesterday I discovered that it clashes with by booked holiday in France. I'll need to catch up some other time.

Stuart.... the red wire in pic 1... If it disappears down and through the tunnel to the front then, on mine, it is connected to the upper stud exiting out through the top of the black box. The bottom stud has 2 large wires attached to it, one goes to the starter and the other to the battery.
And just for info... the altenator output goes straight to the starter, and joins the starter cable up to the black box and then on to the battery, unlike the turbo models, where the altenator output goes straight up to the black box and then on to the battery.
