Its not that hard to recarpet the car yourself. I did mine last month. Probably took 1 day in total, bit I split it over 2 days. This also includes time to remove the drivers door lock.

Pics on "Your Cars and Projects" thread under F43RTP.

Darren Biggs did his in the wummer too

Fair enough.

As far as I am concerend the wrong look is better than the old manky ones. As the cost was negligable and it only took a day, it wont be any great pain to take them out and replace with original style if Simon has them made, but I bet they a. won't be cheap and b. won't be the same (i couldn't find the same pile and shades anywhere) c. may only be in LHD version

Let me just come in on this and give my thoughts....

Now Steven, this I suspect is not the first time someone has offered to clear some of the decks at the museum. I reckon you should not quote the 50% off list price and scare people off and give Vince a "cracking deal".

Let's see what happens, back to the studio.

Don't worry. My new 'charcoal' interior works well.

It's what turns him on I'm sure of it.

Every night this week whilst reading my posts about my A610 cutting out he has been stroking a big box of Fuel Pump Relays and a stack of brand new ECU's....

Ok, there is a box of carpets that I haven't really investigated properly.

What I do know is that there is not a complete full set. There are some front floor carpets and some of the side and console carpets in the green/grey and brown (although I've not seen many RHD cars with brown unless they are the same as LHD and were sent here in error) but a full set of all of them in any one colour. That's why I closed the box and stuck it in a corner!

I'll re-open and investigate further.
