Postby B1 RMA » Tue Sep 10, 2013 5:03 pm

Just received an e-mail from FA Auto's in France about a blue Venturi 400 they have for sale. I am useless at links but will try to post one, I guess you guys probably know about it anyway

I think its Taz's 400 Trophy(0007) @ 107k Euros. Hmmm! You may recall a flurry of cries for help and parts last year.

Lovely but unsaleable at that price I would have thought. I remember going to look at it as a box of bits for £20k. Certainly looks much better now!

I am still lurking ..........

Whoa that is significantly more than was suggested to me !

But i accept he had spent a lot of money on it, perhsps the french like them more than we do ?

FA have had several for sale for a couple of years they seem to over price them and then sit on them for years ?
My gypsy problem seems to be going away, and i have found one in spain for about half that, so i may get there one day.

I only just realised looking at those pictures it still has an awful copy momo steering wheel and gearknob and the speaker holes in the door cards have just been covered with a bit of card or similar.

The rest of the car has been completed to a very high standard so I'm surprised these are still there. A decent competitiion steering wheel could be had for £100 or so. I know when you are selling it's a question of where do you stop but I think replacing these two items with something more appropriate would make a big difference for very little outlay.

Always felt this guy TAZ was in it for the money only and the price is just outrageous! He will still have this in his drive for a long time to come I'm afraid. He has recently had a few De Tomaso's, a Pantera and super rare Mangusta up for sale at "strong" money also.

This FA crowd are not actually a dealer, it is a guy who runs a website to give the impression that he is a dealer and owners sell through the website, he is also very slow at taking sold cars off, if you remember the Venturi 210 spider discussed on here a while back, that was left on for 2 years after the sale!

Renault Sport Clio 197 - Ultra Red
Renault Megane Maxim 1.5 DCi - Extreme Blue (Daily Runner)
Minari RS - Coral Red
Smart Roadster Coupe 80 - Spice Red
