Just re-reading the old Teglen thread and his was on the 214/240cc (2.5/3bar) injectors - I think those are the ones I originally purchased and then shifted onto Lee.

Spec is roughly the same is it not Martin in terms of turbo v cams (just CC missing on Teglens versus mine) so I guess I could go back to the 214cc plan and use the same map as Teglen?????

I think he was pretty much maxed out on duty-cycle but I wasn't looking to push it any further on boost or power than it already is.
I'm just here for the gasoline.

I lucked out today. Was in the factors getting some hose for my catch tank and spotted a very faded old gunson co tester. New but been sitting for ages. Made a very cheeky offer and it came home!

So was able to test today. I got it down to 2.5% on the usual IAV. Haven't tried it on my manual one yet as ran out of time.

Martin- I ran out of time today so didn't get to try out your thing, Saturday it is! I'll bring the co machine with me...

So what injector size are you running Jon? 250cc?

No bigger than that- from memory 360/380cc but I'll check.

As Martin says though my hardware allows for this- v big turbo and other head work means that the "pump" houses more air allowing for better breathing and performance but also when talking about idle is creates a weaker mixture.

Hi

Can I check that the lowest possible setting for the co pot before it goes into "limp" is definitely 80 ohms?

Also pot is effective to what rpm exactly?

I think it's probably about 80ohms Jon but I think you'd be hard pressed to get an exact number.

Also I believe it's only really applicable at idle as above that the microswitches of the throttle pot come into play, Martin could probably confirm.

I switched the injector's out today for the 214 variety. Didn't take too long and only had one Julia Roberts escargot moment as I sent the retaining clip flying across the engine bay.

So now just waiting for a reflashed ECU and hopefully it'll be MOT time.

New updated chip fitted. Thanks again Martin!

Feedback thus far - cold start runs much smoother, plus idles better when warm. I'll swap the oil out before it goes for the MOT as running rich has caused some contamination.

Also shortened the silicone hose connecting the rear of the CC to the intercooler. That's removed the compression that was restricting the flow, plus replaced the jubilee clip at the turbo end as that wasn't tightening up.

Oh and the new injectors all good - no leaks. Result :D
