I've never liked them,really do look like an afterthought and probably were ,to meet UK specs,look at the Euro cars. Now how much could I get away with Ocifer.Being such a rare French beast ect ,plead ignorance if they suddenly vanished I appreciate it's more of a safety issue than noisy exhausts .If I can't lose them completely some mods to get rid of the bulk

You'll fail the MOT everytime and if you were involved in an accident and had your vehicle examined it would theoretically be 'dangerous'. I doubt you'd get stopped just driving it around though....as long as you werent doing something else to get stopped!!
If you get white ones they look rather good and suit the car a million times more than the orange ones which I personally think look crap.

So you would only get away with it ,MOT wise ,with a left hooker and it would be deemed safe in an accident Go figure.

Um, no, I think if you took your left hooker for its MOT it too would fail....its the same as japanese imports...they normally need things like fog lights adding that arent a necessity in Japan.

If you read the blurb its from 1986 that it applies.....so you need a very early GTA to get away with it.
I only mentioned the dangerous bit because it would be obvious you had removed something that should be there. A bit like removing your seatbelts because you saw an old Moggy Minor without them and liked the look!!!
