Front brake pads warning light question.

Postby GTAUS » Sun May 03, 2009 12:07 pm

Anyone had similar happen to them???
Warning light and service light keep flashing on..........
1. so i checked the pads....heaps of meat remaining however one of the wires was caught between the pad and i simply got it out of there.
That must be the problem i thought !
2. Happens again so it must be the fluid level i thought. Thats Ok too.
Now i'm stuffed for any further answers as everything is good.
PS: it doesnt effect braking.
Me thinks it could be the little sensor thingo on top of the resevoir.
Any ideas fellas??

The wire that got caught probably exposed some copper and now it's grounding on something else. Check the wire that you found and wrap some insulation tape around it.

I had one on my old BX many moons ago that tickled the inside of the wheel and eventually wore through and lit the light up.
