Alpine Specialist in North West

Hi,

I have an A610. Fell in love with the car in 1992 and have finally got one. Was just wondering where the best specialist for servicing and repairs is in the North West of England? I know Aiden Piers used to service this car in Altrincham and Renault Manchester used to sell them but does anyone know whether either of these still work on the A610 and if not where does?

Yes Aiden Piers is no more, Renault Manchester probably don't have the same staff that know Alpines anymore and would have your trousers down.

My old mate Ed China knows his stuff, he works for Renault Chester and does/helps with most of the work on my GTA. What do you need doing?

Thanks guys. No specific problems with the car, just could do with a service as it hasn't had one for 5k miles. Always handy knowing someone who knows a thing or two about these as don't fancy letting any old tom, dick and harry loose on it! Thanks again.

Yeh I bought her off Neil but the car is well known to this Club as it was Ben Hilliers before that. She's starting to look pretty good now after a good dose of TLC. I've got a week off this week so will be pretty busy doing a few little things.

A childhood dream come true for me as I did say when I sat in a yellow one at the motor show in 1992 that I would have it one day. The fact that this one came up (yellow, leather, spiders were musts!) meant that I couldn't say no as they aren't exactly common!! Is there any other A610's with those options as I believe there is only 11 yellow 610's in the UK?

Enjoyed showing her yesterday in a local show. Got a fair bit of attention and rightly so! (see pics in Events)
