Sorry to keep posting, but all the garages where I live are currently phasing out LRP.

Can you use unleaded ?? I've been told different stories.

My car is a GTA Turbo.

If you look on the old forum I asked this one.....the answer is that if it has a small fuel filler cap with a ridge and an Alpine badge then yes, if not then maybe!

No, mine has a big flat round cap.

My friends has a smaller cap, his is "J" reg Turbo, where as mine is on an "E" plate.

It all depands how many miles you are going to do in it... If it is your main car than you will need to put additives in, if not I wouldn't bother. The damage caused will be negligable if you are only doing 2-3000 miles a year... I used to use super unleaded in mine (when I had it) and it was fine.
I recall seeing something in the club mag a while back about this saying the problem was actually more to do with the octane rating being too low rather than the lack of lead.

Use 98 RON fuel like Optimax & you should be fine. Add a valve seat protection additive occasionally if you are worried.
