Original Phillips Hi-Fi system

Postby 108002917 » Tue Dec 28, 2004 4:00 pm

I currently am still using the original Hi-Fi system from my '88 D601 Turbo and as I know that many users have replaced the units, I would like to retain it as I think it compliments the interior. Does anyone know anyone who overhauls the units? - mine is still working but it has lost some of the illumination on the panel and needs new bulbs. It is the earlier type with the slight bronzy tint to it.
Alternatively, I do have the later type unit available which I could use, but I do not have the seperate clock unit - does anyone have a spare clock unit to match the later system or know where I can obtain one?

Try Paul at ARR

Hi there, I know Paul Sage has various Renault hi-fi systems in his Aladdins cave, I'm sure he could repair or replace your unit with a later one if you give him a ring.
