A310 question

Postby dalla » Tue Dec 26, 2006 9:43 pm

Hi Guys

I found this A310 for sale, just wondered if you know what company makes the rear hatch? I kinda like it.

Cheers Dennis

I think you'll find it's a home made one. The tray that sits under the glass looks lke it's been smoothed and painted.

AlpineAndy is correct :D This is a 'home made' by stripping the glass from an original lid, adding a few bits of GRP then smothing flat. Hard work, and it will have the 310 'hump' in the middle. Maybe easier to start from scratch, at least that way you can get it all flat.

Where in DK are you? We and are half Dansk and visit home (Funen) once or twice a year.

..or you could modify a Fleishmann rear grille and work with that.. :)

Think that the Fleishmann lid is the outer skin only, that utilises the A310 inner engine cover, so not much to be ganed by going that route.

Cheers
