theres a video on the net somewhere (i will try and find it) with a civic on the rollers it did one run and made 141bhp and on the second run they connected a leaf blower to the intake and it gained 12bhp

simon do you think you can make a bracket fora leaf blower :shock: :lol:

I'm off to B+Q to buy a leaf blower...... hold on.....there wouldn't be any room left for the engine if i fitted that :cry:

How about a compressor with header tank that can accumulate a load of air and release a blast of pressure when you need it - in a sort of nitrous type fashion. A sort of storage supercharger.

In fact - if my motor is anything to go by, theres a ruddy great compressor hanging on to the side of the engine thats doing nothing because the aircon pipework is knacked.

Are you seriously suggesting that your flymo can generate enough leccy to run a leaf blower?? :lol:

I've always wondered if you could plumb the aircon into a chargecooler, would it generate enough extra bhp (in inlet charge temp reduction) to cover the bhp needed to run it?
