rear hatch glass

Are there any companies out there still manufacturing the rear glass??(autoglas etc) as most window suppliers I try dont have a clue what car I am talking about, i dont want to make one from perspex as it will look terrible.

I think you're better off talking to someone like Dave G and get the rear glass from a GTA that's been broken up for spares.

Autoglass' suppliers manufacture the front screens but not the rears.
I'm just here for the gasoline.

I have had some but none at the minute (though, when my GTA is finished I will be using a plexiglass cover instead, so there 'may' be one available...

I have looked into having rear glasses manufactured. Ive seen the quality of the glass, and they can get it identical to the original, even down to the correct black borders, fade out section and even colour of the heated glass element..

25 minimum order though... :?

If they can make these to a good standard, perhaps getting the headlight covers made would be good if they could be done at a reasonable price.
And even at 25 of each lens, I expect you would have a ready market if they could be sold at a third of the genuine Renault ones.

The headlamp glasses are laminated and the rebate is formed from the step between the laminates. You can't rebate a single layer glass headlamp so it wouldn't seal well. Laminated copies would be more pricy.
